Francesco Meneghini
Director
Francesco is an Italian director living between Berlin, Germany, and Milan, Italy.
Since his very first short movie, “The Zombie,” a neighborhood hit when he was thirteen, Francesco has never stopped telling stories.
He was part of Fabrica (Benetton’s communication research center led by Oliviero Toscani), where he directed shows and live events for artists such as La Fura dels Baus, Lucio Dalla, and The Kennedy Foundation. Then as an interactive artist, his projects have been featured in museums, galleries, and festivals internationally across the globe, including Centre Pompidou in Paris; QPac Concert Hall in Brisbane; Kunstmuseum in Basel; Experimental Design Biennal in Lisbon; and Share Festival in Turin.
He now is exclusively focused on directing and storytelling. His work is a clear result of his artistic and eclectic path, enabling him to create a unique style and emotionally engaging cinematic atmospheres for global brands such as Armani, Diesel, Versace, Ducati, The North Face, and Columbia Records, just to name a few. Depending on a brand’s requirements, his directing style can vary from youthful, energetic, and vibrant to elevated, high-end, and elegant.
Thanks to his background in animation and VFX, Francesco has also worked with Nike, Telecom Italia, and Volkswagen. When it comes to VFX/CGI work, Francesco’s deep understanding of the VFX processes and technical knowledge of the tools and techniques used in the creation of VFX, allows him to effectively communicate his vision to a VFX team, make informed creative decisions, and ensure that VFX elements seamlessly integrate with live-action footage.
With his eclectic mix of techniques and styles, Francesco continues to produce surprising and innovative work and had an opportunity to build strong working relationships with global celebrities such as Martin Garrix, Lucky Blue Smith, Shawn Mendes, and others.
